Beware Of The Timeshare Marketing Companies

The Ultimate Guide To Timeshare Claims in 2022

On Saturday, 8th October 2022, we received a call from a consumer that had disposed of his Timeshare in the USA over seven years ago. The resort in question had taken the Timeshare back free of charge. As such, he no longer owned or had any maintenance fees to pay.

The consumer received a cold call from a marketing company that told him he qualified for compensation and that someone would visit his house to explain the process. However, after a four-hour sales pitch in the consumer's front room, the client was asked to pay £4000 in upfront fees for 'legal' expenses in order to submit his claim.

The sales rep (fraudster) had told the consumer that because the client had paid for the Timeshare on his credit card in 2008, he still qualified for a claim(refund)!

Fortunately for the consumer, he got in touch with us before paying them any money. And we were able to save him £4000.

Every week we get around fifty telephone calls from consumers that have paid out money for fake timeshare legal services. In some cases, we can help the victims recover their money, while others aren't so lucky.
